Today, Adam Fox interviewed Dale Jacobs (University of Windsor Professor) about his Graphic Novel class and how he secured the visit and chat of Jeff Lemire…one of Canada’s most gifted graphic novelists.

Tom Lucier interviewed Tara Watts with help from Adam, about her new record being released Thursday, March 26th at The Room (255 Ouellette Ave.). Tara was tense, but eager to have her release, which happens to be her FIRST!

Today’s show was a couple of weeks in planning.

Adam interviewed his co-host, Tom, about Phog Lounge’s recent contest win from CBC Radio 3. The internet broadcasting site launched Searchlight: a hunt for Canada’s Best Live Music Venue.

The interview lasts the duration of the show…so if you get enough of Tom already, be prepared for overload.

On today’s show, Adam Fox interviewed Susan McKee, marketing/publicity co-ordinator for the School of Music at the University of Windsor. McKee spoke about Windsor Canadian Music Festival, which is a series of workshops, discussions, and performances with a focus on local composers and music. She made it clear that Windsor’s representatives are not your father’s symphony. A nice promo piece for an event you should be at if you have any interest in breaking into this kind of career in music.

www.uwindsor.ca/concerts is where you can find out more.

Tom interviewed local graphic artist and funny-man Shane Potvin who has an art show running at Milk Coffee Bar until March 15th. It’s a unique discussion about where graphic design fits into the local art scene. To add something fresh to the interview, I recorded our discussion in the car, while driving from Forest Glade to downtown Windsor.

For a virtual tour of the show, (which does not do it justice), watch the video shot by Milk Coffee Bar owner, Angelo, by clicking on this LINK!
